simple storage solutions

Derek Richards

i’ve retired my brain.
the process of writing a memo to my issues,
baggage, doubts and insecurities
is under way.
my fiance adores a stuffed animal named Vulner,
he is a turtle with a zipped pocket
inside his shell.
from now on my arguments with the world
will find a home there,
as well as any stress-related themes,
financial disasters or holiday cravings
for booze, drugs or emergency rooms.
you want a piece of me?
talk to the turtle.
