Fallen Angel by Roger Singer

Fallen Angel

Roger Singer

she is
a flower
with silver wings,
scattered
in a shaded
alley,
where voices
and promises
melt at sunrise,
as the city
yawns,
waiting for
the unwritten
story to
assemble
