Tamra Plotnick

Love is a chariot
of the mind,
galloping to distant territories
where you don’t know
the language
nor the customs.

The language of relationships,
    treaties, diplomacy,
will be called for later…perhaps,
and may require translators,
guidebooks, or ethnographies.
