Seattle Book Review Features Lowestoft Chronicle’s Adventurous Spirit

In case you missed it, earlier this year, the newest book in the Lowestoft Chronicle Anthology Series, An Adventurous Spirit, received gracious attention on the review website Seattle Book Review. The review site, which launched in 2016, is a brand of City Book Review.

I know every serious reader is awash with excitement when they accidentally discover a treasure trove of excellent writing,” begins reviewer Julia McMichael. “This volume lives up to its claim of spirited adventure… The poetry also is remarkable. This book is a great find.”

To our delight, Julia McMichael deemed the book worthy of 4.5 stars. Slightly dismayed, the editor of Lowestoft Chronicle questioned why it didn’t receive the full five stars. This snippet from McMichael’s review placated him: “It turns out that the Lowestoft Chronicle is a quarterly online magazine of great writing.”
