At the end of October, the editor of Lowestoft Chronicle nominated numerous pieces for inclusion in the various Best American Series anthologies. Twenty of so pieces are published in each anthology, and hundreds of submissions are sent each year. Mercifully, the submission process is now an online procedure sparing our editor from the dreaded post office line that inevitably extends to the parking lot. These are our nominations.
